What is A4 in Hz?

A4 is 440 Hz in standard tuning. This is the international pitch standard (ISO 16) used by orchestras, DAWs, and most electronic instruments worldwide. In 432 Hz tuning, A4 becomes 432 Hz instead.

What frequency should I tune my 808 to?

Tune your 808 to the root note of your track. If your track is in C, use C2 (65.41 Hz) or C1 (32.70 Hz) for a sub frequency. Use the 808 Tuning Guide for the full chart and semitone tables.

What is MIDI note 60?

MIDI note 60 is middle C. In most DAWs it is labeled C3 or C4 (labeling varies by manufacturer), with a frequency of 261.63 Hz at A4 = 440 Hz. MIDI notes run from 0 (C-1, 8.18 Hz) to 127 (G9, 12543.85 Hz).
